Health Claims for Fruit & Veg: The Facts' FREE event at Stockbridge Technology Centre, June 23rd 2010 for producers, processors and retailers, to discuss what is a health claim, what the potential benefits are and how to get one.

We will start with a precis of what a health claim actually is, and an introduction to EFSA from Leatherhead Food Research, then lead on to what impact having a health claim can make on sales.

After a yummy, locally sourced lunch, we will learn about specific health claims for specific fruit and vegetables, including broccoli, carrots, beetroot, berries and tomatoes.  This event is aimed at large producers, producer groups, grower associations, fruit and vegetable processors and retailers.
