MacTavish:West expands into Australia in 2010. Now confirmed from mid July 2010, our new offices will be based in Hobart Tasmania. We will provide consultancy services to the fresh produce, non-food crops, and plant extracts industries across Australia and New Zealand.

The opportunity: Rhubarb crowns (roots) are valued in the herbal medicine industry for their anthraquinones and stilbenes. New bioactivity has been identified for skin lightening/whitening, with potential to treat melasma and age spots. We are developing new extracts and testing efficacy and safety.
