Winchester Growers is the UK’s major producer of scented flowers for the cut flower market. To promote a specific variety in Waitrose supermarkets, a ‘Scratch and Sniff’ label was desired.
The problem: A freelance journalist wanted an interesting story about perfume, linked with celebrity. She asked MacTavish:West if we could assess celebrity perfumes ‘blind’ and describe them and what it said about the person who wore them.
The problem: the Isles of Scilly Scented Narcissi growers wanted to define the fragrance of key varieties for marketing and promotional purposes.
The problem: The UK’s largest producer and importer of scented cut flowers wanted a unique recreation of the fragrance of their new variety, and a ‘Scratch and Sniff’ label to use in pull-out promotions in magazines and on the sleeve of the bouquet.
